Post Kursah or Steely
One of these nights after work could I con one of you over to help me hook up the mic and headphone jacks on the front facia of my pc. This would set up my gaming about perfect! I wouldn't need to get new gear or nothing which would be great! Tuesday would probablly be best. I'll have to check with Midge. There will be beer.

You have headphone and mic jacks in the Front Panel of your case already? Most newer cases do, and it can sure be handy to have them usable. We can figure something out for sure, and really should just be one plugin from the front of the case that handles both mic and headphones, and one spot on the motherboard with two rows of 4-5+ pins...MB owners manual should point it out, generally marked FP AC '97 or similar. But if you want someone to do it for ya, nadda big deal at all, but if your case and MB are already setup for this, it should really be as easy as power down, route the cable, plug it in, power on, enable FP in sound settings, voila, all done! Of course it could always get complicated too! :P

I'll look around the MB and see what I got. I know originally Steely and I didn't hook because we didn't think it would be needed. Anyways, I'll post up what I find.
